About Us
Our Story
Research on QDA technology commenced in 2015 in Lisbon Portugal. This research was promoted and conducted by a team of Professors from the University of Lisbon. They filed their first two patents in 2016, continued their research and formed a company to more formally manage the research in 2018.
By 2021 these professors had 10 issued patents and published demonstrated test results in an IEEE publication. By 2023 there were more than a dozen patents issued and at present an additional dozen or so applications pending.
QDAcomm was formed in 2023 and early in 2024 all QDA Intellectual Property was transferred to QDAcomm to facilitate licensing of the technology.
Our Targets & Aspirations
QDAcomm has narrowly focused goals – to explain and license patents concerning QDA technology. QDAcomm is the single source for worldwide licensing of QDA technology.
QDA patents are stored, maintained, managed and licensed by QDAcomm. Simply said, QDAComm is in the business of managing QDA Intellectual Property.
In terms of company aspirations, the firm has no plans to go public. Likewise, the firm has no plans to develop additional technologies. The firm plans to license its IP, look for potential partnerships, and be open to attractive acquisition possibilities.
